The economy has imposed a building moratorium.  Yet, with the passage of Measure R and possible stimulus money, Los Angeles is poised to begin the biggest rail construction boom in a generation.  How can we ensure that the right land use plans, development proposals, and procedures are in place to support the infrastructure when construction starts and the projects open?  What should cities, Metro and the private sector be doing now to get ready?  Join the Westside Urban Forum on Friday, February 20 to hear from some of those on the front lines who have the opportunity to shape our urban landscape for the next generation.
