Los Angeles faces many critical issues that transcend city boundaries. Yet it can be a challenge to act regionally when politics is acted out on a local or sub-regional stage. We have recently witnessed this drama in efforts to bring a transportation sales tax to the voters in November. Find out from some of those most closely involved how this drama played out and what we can learn as we work to address transportation, air quality, water, growth and our many other regional challenges.
