How can Los Angeles learn to stop worrying and love congestion?* (at least until we figure out what to do about it)

Fri Nov 10, 2006

The Westside Urban Forum is pleased to host a special conversation with Los Angeles City Councilmember Wendy Greuel, Chair of the Council's Transportation Committee, andJaime de la Vega (7KB, PDF), Deputy Mayor for Transportation. Given that power/policy making in LA is shared between the Mayor and Council, let's hear from the City's two top transportation policy leaders on how Los Angeles is planning to address transportation . . . the big items and the small fixes.

Please join the Westside Urban Forum and our moderator, Bill Parent, Director of the Policy Forum at the UCLA School of Public Affairs, as we welcome the transportation policy leaders of the City of Los Angeles to discuss the many challenges involved in moving people and goods around our metropolis.
