After more than two long decades, there finally seems to be public and political support to bring the subway to the Westside. Yet, there is no funding available to build or operate a new subway. The notoriously divisive Westside has never presented a unified vision of what it wants. Can we learn to stay "on message," and persevere over the long-term that is required for a project of this magnitude? Will we finally get the subway this time? Will the funding and votes go elsewhere once again while we have to wait for yet another generation? Join the Westside Urban Forum to find out what it will take politically and financially to bring the subway west.
