Westwood Village is sometimes referred to as one of the jewels of Los Angeles. After languishing for years, is it finally turning the corner? The signs are mixed. The new Business Improvement District is working hard. There are new eateries and a Target Store. But many storefronts still sit vacant and the subway is years away. Last year's Westwood Village Vision effort, sponsored in part by the Forum, brought focus to many of the issues and laid out a bold vision for the Village. Join the Westside Urban Forum to learn about what's really happening in the Village and to discuss the risks, opportunities and where it might be heading.
